Tips For A Budget Friendly Bathroom Makeover
Finally, a house update post!
I'm focusing on the front room at the moment, sanding the floorboards, replacing the broken ones and oiling them. The kitchen units and worktops are new, so that room needs painting and some tiling finishing and then it's finally done.
The bathroom needs a new suite, plastering and tiling, but it's quite far down the list at the moment. In this post, I am looking at ways we can freshen it up on a budget!
This picture was the bathroom when I moved here...
And this is the bathroom now...
One of my favourite accessories is the Sunset Red Marble Mortice Door Knobs from Door Furniture Direct.
DFD kindly sent me these door knobs to feature in my bathroom makeover. They are available online for £29.70.
The pictures of these don't do them justice! They are extremely heavy, high quality and compliment the rest of the bathroom.
A great way to keep costs down when decorating is to limit the amount of tiling and use paint. I've used tile stickers to freshen ours up temporarily.
Last week I was offered the chance to try Tesco's same day photo service. I ordered my canvas late afternoon and collected it in the evening from my local store. The service was fantastic from ordering to the collection.
I still have lots to do and I will keep this post updated!
